Got some cool pics you'd like to share?  mail me.

This is Harold Cassavang(sp) and his 34 Lake Coupe. Not sure where this pic was taken.
He was later killed in this car at a drag strip on Hwy 80 between Dixon and Vacaville.
(Note Chev in background undergoing wheel change on dodgy bumper jack)

Nice A roadster, Notice early type slicks on steel wheels on rear and narrow fronts on steel rims. at Madera.

An A altered Coupe at Madera
(Note masking tape across all body gaps. Poor mans streamlining)

D class dragster.
(Plus lots of cool stockers in this pic too).

This is Mickey Thompson with his Paper Mache bodied A fuel dragster. Notice 2 roadsters leaving the line.

This pic shows Mickey Thompson standing, back to the camera, and crew working on his dragster. They have taken the paper mache body off. Notice his twin 55 P.U's and Art Chisman's dragster in the background. Forgot who won but Thompson, Chrisman and the Bean Bandits were all fighting to win. Nitro Methane was just starting to be used.

Early Dragster for sale at Madera.

An A altered coupe at Madera.
(What if Deuce coupes were so plentiful you could copy that paint job just for a laugh?)

Another A altered coupe at Madera.
(You'd really shake some people up if you dragged this out today. That body is superb)

Fiat body on an A frame w/V-8 A altered. More of my dad's competition.

Another So Cal dragster.

This is one of the famous Bean Bandits dragsters.

Neat picture of Art Chrisman's dragster.

This blown flathead dragster was built by
Ernie Hashim of Bakersfield, California, who was a pioneer in supercharging........(Dave Sorenson)
(Epitome of an early "Rail job").

This dragster the PVTA
(Pomona Valley Timing Association) from Pomona, California, driven usually
by Dawson Hadley.  The PVTA operating the Pomona Drag Strip......(Dave Sorenson)
(You dont need to study this pic for long to recognise this car was built to a very high standard).

The Pepperoni Bender. Beautiful 32 roadster.

Another D class dragster.
(Looks more like an altered with all that bodywork).

35 ford A fuel coupe from L.A. Twin eyes decal on side was Moon Company Decal.
Nice 54 or 55 tow truck too. At Madera

The '35 Coupe with the mooneyes belonged to Archie Ary from Colton,
California (one of the founders of the Colton Drag Strip - thus the name on
the side.)  Archie went on to field a chopped Crosley fuel coupe and later a
fuel dragster. ......(Dave Sorenson)

Two street roadsters from my dad's Vallejo club, the North Bay Roadsters.

A nice A-V8 C roadster. That lady was the driver.

Tony Magsani with 57 car. He drove for owner in Bay Cities racing 1954.
At Tony and my dad's alley garage they shared in Vallejo.

Dad's (97) and Tony's (57) cars.

My dad's 34 A altered coup, sponsored by Lakeside Dairy in Vallejo. They called it the Homogenizer. My dad is driving.

My dad waiting in line to go off with that 36 coupe beside him. My dad won, or so he tells me.

My dad again driving the Homogenizer.
(Note starter still in mid-air)
